Topic H&S Challenges in the Renewable Industry (Wind and Solar)

From working at 300 feet above ground level to being surrounded by high voltage, the Wind and Solar industry generates its own unique Health and Safety challenges. Even though the challenges might be unique to this industry the consequences of accidents or the lack of a proactive safety culture leads to the same outcomes witnessed across any industry. The focus of this talk is to think beyond the constant changing of rules and procedures every time an accident occurs by combining operational excellence, a strong leadership model and being data driven to create long term value for all internal and external stakeholders.
