TOPIC: Flip the Script: “Speak CEO”

Synopsis:

Are you only getting in front of the CEO or other business leaders in your company to talk about “loss”, “incident”, “spending”, or other “doom and gloom” happening in your company? If so, it’s not a surprise they decline your meetings, cancel last minute, or simply avoid any time with you. Learn how to “Speak CEO” and you will “Flip the Script” on how your company leaders view you and the safety function. Teach your team to do the same thing and your department will be viewed as a profit center vs. a cost center.

Jeron is a distinguished safety executive, NCAA wrestling official, and former collegiate athlete based in the Greater Houston area.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Safety Management and Master of Science in Occupational Safety Management/Industrial Safety from the University of Central Missouri (UCM), a leading institution in safety sciences. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP®) with over 25 years of leadership experience.

Currently serving as Vice President of Health, Safety, Environment at Saber Power Services in Houston, Texas, Jeron drives operational excellence in occupational health, safety, security, environmental compliance, risk management, loss prevention, and regulatory affairs.

A standout wrestler at the University of Central Missouri (UCM), Jeron competed from 1993 to 1997, earning All-American honors in 1996 & 1997 and finishing as the NCAA runner-up his senior year. He holds the program record for career wins with 136 and ranks second in career pins with 65. In recognition of his achievements, he was inducted into the UCM Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015.
