Topic Conducting an Effective Job Search

Whether you are in transition because you want to upgrade or it is not your choice, it is important to conduct your search efficiently and effectively. This presentation will discuss mindset, strategies, preparation, your purpose, most effective processes, and resources.

Speaker Mike McKenna, CSP, Safety, Health, Environmental & Regulatory Consultant, M&P McKenna, LLC

With over 15 years of experience, Mike uses his degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Safety Engineering to help forward thinking leaders sleep better at night by partnering with them to develop management systems that help provide a safe, environmentally friendly and compliant workplace. Most of his experience has been in the upstream petroleum industry, and most recently in the recycling industry. Working in the upstream petroleum industry has provided him with multiple opportunities to practice his job search skills, each resulting in something better than before. Mike volunteers weekly with Epiphany Job Network in Katy to give back, pay it forward and help those in transition move up and along.
