James (Jim) Shelton, Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS) Houston North Area Office
Jim has been assigned to the OSHA Houston North Area Office since 1996. Jim supports OSHA as a Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS). CAS officers are non-enforcement OSHA employees charged with providing outreach, free of charge, via alliances, partnerships and the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).

Jarrod entered the construction industry as an excavation subcontractor in high school. In 2011, Jarrod became an Outside Sales Representative for NTS’s Austin branch location. Prior to joining NTS, Jarrod served in the United States Marine Corp as a Scout Sniper, Team Leader, and Instructor.
