ASSP Gulf Coast Chapter Meeting – May 2026

​Isabel Bacarella, Manager Safety Operations Gas Transmissions & Midstream (GTM) US/Canada with Enbridge. She is a certified industrial hygienist (CIH), certified safety professional (CSP) and earned her MPH degree from the University of Michigan in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Hazardous Substances Management as well as a BS degree in Marine Biology from the University of Miami.

Prior to joining Enbridge, Isabel worked with PPG in specialty chemical and aerospace manufacturing sectors holding global environmental, health, and safety leadership roles.

She is also an active leader with the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), as a Director-at-Large. Previous positions include: President of the Gulf Coast local section, Chair of Women in Industrial Hygiene, Career and Employment Services Committee Chair. ​

Isabel is a Florida native and now lives in Houston with her husband and their two children. When not working, she enjoys yoga, staying active, hiking, and spending time with her family.
