Topic: Modern Day Ergonomics
Speaker: Andy Muddimer
Bio: Andrew is an ergonomist with over 20 years of experience. The majority of his experience is in Oil and Gas at Schlumberger, from drillers control rooms to E&P software user interfaces. Andrew had the opportunity to work on all aspects of the systems from the physical attributes to the software usability. Andrew holds a BSc(Hons) in Information Technology with Human Factors from Loughborough University in the UK. Andrew is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), and is Chair of the Chapter Affairs Committee, 2017 President of the Houston Chapter of HFES, a board member of the Houston Oil and Gas Ergonomics Network, and a founding member of the Houston Chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association.
