Texas Employer Traffic Safety Training

The National Safety Council’s Texas Employer Traffic Safety Program Our Driving Concern is offering this free training program to teach employers the basics of transportation safety. This training is geared for HR professionals, safety professionals, supervisors, & safety instructors., The Our Driving Concern (ODC) materials are designed with an Employer-Employee focus and are designed to deliver to your employees at staff meetings, tailgate talks, etc.

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of unintentional workplace deaths in Texas. An average workplace motor vehicle crash costs an employer more than $24,000. If the employee is injured, the average cost increase to more than $125,000. Employers must realize the full extent of their exposure to liability, as multi-million dollar settlements become increasingly common for lawsuits involving motor vehicle crashes.
