Topic Cognitive Bias in Incident Investigations

Join us on June 6 when Angelina Simmons discusses how cognitive biases affect incident investigations and what can be done to counteract those biases.

Speaker Angelina Simmons

Angelina is a Principal Consultant with vPSI Group, LLC, based out of their Houston, TX, USA, office She has worked there since 2008 beginning as an Analyst and working up to her current position She has trained people on two continents in the vPSI methods of investigating and learning from incidents In addition to training, she does quality control on the actions coming out of incident investigations for many thousands of incidents across hundreds of client datasets She is a graduate of The University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Special Guest Larissa Ipsen

We want to extend a warm welcome to Larissa Ipsen, the New OSHA Region 6 Houston South Area Director as of January 2024. Larissa will attend our June meeting for an initial introduction and to share a few words about her vision for Region 6 Houston South.
