Topic The Loss Control Professional: A Partner in Safety

Speaker Andi Alexander, Senior Loss Control Consultant – Accident Fund

Andrianna (Andi) joined the Accident Fund team in 2013 as a Loss Control Consultant, providing loss control services to policyholders in Texas.

Andi became interested in loss control while working on Accident Fund’s Claims team, which led to her return to college to obtain a safety degree. Andi left Accident Fund to work on her degree and completed internships in the safety departments of global companies, such as General Electric, Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing, and Marathon Oil Company. She was then employed by a safety consulting company and a national, multi-line insurance carrier before returning to Accident Fund in 2013.

Andi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Safety Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. and obtained her Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation. To increase knowledge in insurance operations, she obtained the Associate in Rick Management (ARM) and ARM in Public Entity (ARM-P) certifications, and has begun a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Insurance degree program at Olivet College in Olivet, Mich.
